Develop H3 Tags With Search Phrases

Before you start creating content, develop a list of 20 to 25 search phrases that are relevant to your brand and its products or services. Then, use these search phrases when writing content. When creating your blog posts, come up with two or three labels or subheadings that can be used to organize the article. Tagging these labels as H3 titles and incorporating your search phrases will help each post contribute to your SEO rankings.

Enter ALT Text on Images

Each image that is uploaded via the Hatch platform requires Alternative Text or ALT text. ALT text should generally be three to five words that briefly describe what is happening in the image. This description is used by screen readers or when the image can’t load properly. When applicable, use your search phrases as part of the ALT text so images can also boost your rankings.

Google Search Console

At Hatch, each site we launch comes configured with the Google Search Console. We can grant you access to this console via your Gmail address, where you will receive email notifications and alerts from Google. These alerts identify any items that need to be fixed to remain compliant to Google standards, and can go even more in-depth than typical Google Analytics results. If there are programming issues identified by the Google Search Console, we are happy to fix them for you.

Improving your SEO rankings isn’t as hard as you might expect! By consistently following these basic guidelines, you will gradually improve your rankings. The higher you rank, the easier it will be for new customers to discover your business.
